I don’t have many words when it comes to The Shafer Wedding this last August other than “wow”. This wedding was full of love, laughter and friendship. The Bridal party was intimate, the couples sons were the Best man and ring bearer. The air was buzzing with bees working away at the perfectly bloomed hydrangeas and a harp played while Kristin walked down the isle to the love of her life.

The details of this wedding were soft, but personal. I absolutely loved how the Shafer’s themed their wedding around the natural beauty Cape Horn Estate already has to offer.

Kristin & Eric wanted to wait to see one another until she walked down the isle, but decided to do private vows. Cape Horn Estate has a sliding door that leads to the bridal suite so we used it as a way to keep them separated while they read each other their personalized vows.

Kristin surprised her soon to be hubby with some spicy photos at the end of the Vow reading and her excited giggles were the sweetest. Eric about walked off with her phone. LOL

The Ceremony was that of fairytales, the flowers up at Cape Horn Estate are WILD in the Summer. I truly had about 100 “holy crap, I can’t believe this is where we live” moments during their wedding. The way the sun hits the mountains in the Columbia River Gorge, it was like they were getting married in a Bob Ross painting truly.
