Your family and maternity photos don’t have to be a huge production, they can happen in your own backyard and that’s exactly what this family did in Camas Washington.
Last year I got the sweetest inquiry from expecting mama saying that she wanted to book me for a maternity and newborn photo package but she wanted her Maternity session to take place in their backyard. Her property is full of trees, and it was a new home to them and they wanted to take advantage of the space. So that’s exactly what we did.
The session felt quick, and painless because their 2 year old daughter was in a space that she recognized and felt at ease in. I am absolutely obsessed with this idea now, and I can not wait for the few family sessions I have planned in backyards this season.
