Why You Should Bundle Your Maternity & Newborn Photos

It’s completely understandable why maternity and newborn photos sometimes get pushed aside. During pregnancy, you’re often tired, not always feeling your best, and taking photos might not feel like a priority. Then once your baby arrives, you’re suddenly in the whirlwind of sleepless nights, healing, and adjusting to a whole new rhythm of life.

But here’s the thing—these moments are incredibly fleeting.
That beautiful baby bump you’re carrying only looks like that for a few short weeks. And your brand-new baby? They begin to change almost instantly. The sleepy expressions, the tiny curled-up toes, the fuzzy little ears and soft skin—all those newborn details evolve so quickly, often before you’ve even had a chance to take it all in.

Photos freeze those moments in time—and give you something tangible to hold on to, long after the haze of the early days fades. One thing I hear the most from my clients is that they regret not getting the maternity and newborn photos done.

Why bundling both sessions just makes sense:

Bundling your maternity and newborn photo sessions is about so much more than saving money—though yes, you’ll save over $200 when you book both together!

Here’s what you get with the bundle:

  • One photographer, one style, one story: Your images will flow beautifully together, captured with the same care, editing style, and artistry.
  • Easier scheduling: You’ll be on my calendar for both sessions. Maternity shoots usually happen between 32–34 weeks, and newborn sessions are scheduled for around 10 days after birth (once you’re settled at home).
  • No scrambling for a photographer twice: You’ve got enough to think about—this takes one more thing off your list.
  • A trusted presence during a vulnerable time: Welcoming someone into your home with a newborn is personal. By the time your baby arrives, we’ll already have a relationship, and I won’t feel like a stranger. That means a more relaxed, natural experience—for everyone.

Your future self (and your kids!) will thank you

Photos aren’t just for now—they’re for later.
Maternity photos document your strength, beauty, and the love that already surrounds your baby. If you already have older kids, it’s a special chance to capture the family before it grows. Then, when your baby arrives, newborn photos freeze those first tiny features in time—the little fingers, sleepy yawns, and those fleeting moments that pass in a blur.

These images will become part of your family’s story—something your children will treasure when they’re older, and something you will look back on with gratitude.

From the joyous occasion of weddings, to the heartwarming moments of families coming together, I am there to document it all. I believe that every moment, big or small, contributes to the beautiful legacy that my clients are creating.
